全真道北五祖之一，也称正阳帝君，复姓钟离名权，五代京兆咸阳（今陕西咸阳）人，号和谷子，一号正阳子，又号云房。面容慈善，身材魁梧，美髯俊目，身长八尺。历仕汉、魏、晋为将军，后因兵失利，退隐终南山，得东华帝君授道真诀，复隐晋州羊角山，于正阳洞修炼登仙。强调内丹炼养，创内丹药物、采取、火侯之理论，崛起内丹道之先声，故被全真教尊为北派第二祖。元世祖诏封其为“正阳开悟传道真君”，元武宗加封为“正阳开悟传道垂教帝君”。

Also known as : Zhong Li Quan (钟离权），He Gu Zi (和谷子），Zheng Yang Zi (正阳子）， Yun Fang （云房）
Zheng Yang Di Jun was a follower of Dong Hua Di Jun. A strong and tall man with a height of over 2.6 meters, he was kind with beautiful eyes and a long beard. He had been a General serving three dynasties in Han (汉), Wei (魏)and Jin (晋). Later when defeated in wars, he retreated into Zhong Nan Mountain (终南山)。There he came to meet his master Dong Hua Di Jun and started to practice Taoism. Subsequently, he moved to Yang Jiao Shan (羊角山) Zheng Yang Dong (正阳洞) and pioneered the learning and practice on internal alchemy. He was acknowledged as the second generation of the Northern Five Masters. He was honoured in Yuan Dynasty by Emperor Shi Zu (元世祖) as “Zheng Yang Kai Wu Chuan Dao Zhen Jun” (正阳开悟传道真君) and by Emperor Wu Zong as “Zheng Yang Kai Wu Chuan Dao Chui Jiao Di Jun” (正阳开悟传道垂教帝君)。
