三丰古柏
San Feng Gu Bai 一名鹤鸣古柏,在大坪山麓迎仙阁。
清嘉庆《四川通志》卷三《大邑·古迹》:“(鹤鸣古柏)在鹤鸣山迎仙阁后,相传张三丰手植,大可五十围,仅存枯椿内生子柏亦近六围。”
清乾隆《大邑县志》卷二十《古迹》:“(迎仙阁)庙后古柏其大三围,相传植于宋时。邑中大树以此为巨。”
四川省林业厅测量树高三十米,胸直径一米五一。直矗山腰,枝叶繁茂,果实累累,下限可断至明代,是典型的川柏。)
Also known as He Ming Gu Bai, these were old cypresses believed to be planted by the deity, Zhang San Feng. Originally, there was a big cypress located behind Ying Xian reception hall. An old literature in the Qing Dynasty mentioned that the tree was so huge that it took 50 people to surround it. Later, that big tree died. Today, one can still find an old cypress located behind San Sheng Temple; the planting of the seedling can be traced back to the Ming Dynasty. Recently, Sichuan’s Agricultural Department took a measurement of the tree and reported that it stands 30 meters with a diameter of 1.51 meters.
